Dec. 6th, 2000 12:04 pmPlayed the sims way too late last night..
my little household is getting a bit overcrowded with stuff...Time to expand, build a 2nd floor, or make it a ranch house. :)
unusual reality check update, there. Scotto-sim has a job as a parapsychologist! :) I would love a gig that paid me to look at haunted houses, scientifically look for chupacabras, etc. Lady-Sim had a job as a musician, and fortunately the hours balance out! something gross about the living large expansion, or maybe original sims that I've never noticed before was if you don't take out the trash, you can get bugs! ew. little cockroaches in the kitchen. easily removed but disgusting.
some household elements... Vast library/entertainment area, complete with faux bearskin rug and warm fireplace.... comfortable bedroom (that's rather cozy, probably will get larger)... whirlpool, roman tub, fits more than one. a woodshop! (oh to hand make garden gnomes like my alter-ego!) something that they need to add is kitties. I need a little orange cat running around inside, and a little black one in and out. how hard to build? any of you simmies out there have any ideas? a cat I can download?
Hope to see the girl later today...I miss her, but I know she's having fun, so that brings me joy. :)
tune on the radio...

Re:
Date: 2000-12-06 12:36 pm (UTC)You'll notice when you look at the information on the bed that it is also considered a group activity. I'm still playing around with it. But I have noticed that it boosts social and fun, and it drains energy. Of course, that's when you opt to have your sims do other than sleep in the bed.
It has a vibrate function. One sim places in some simoleans gets into bed and just "relaxes." If you choose to put another sim in the bed while it's vibrating, you get two choices for that one. "relax" and "play in bed." There have been times when my sim has just wanted to "relax" so there was no "play in bed."
And when they "play in the bed"....hehehehe. That's why it takes energy. And I've read that you have to be careful because sometimes after playing, a cradle will appear.
The biggest drawback, aside from it taking alot of energy from your Sims, is that it's pricey. 4500 I think, plus another 20 to use the vibrate function. It's probably ideal for newlyweds and a bachelor/bachelorette pad.

I'll have to investigate... the alladin's lamp is a risky proposition... I opeted for 'earth or air' and answered air, and the genie gave me a bunch of pink flamingos for the garden.

Date: 2000-12-06 02:13 pm (UTC)evil sim life
Date: 2000-12-06 10:54 am (UTC)I would love to get that game, but I'm afraid if I do, I will become addicted, and never eat, and become really unhygenic, and get chair sores, and eventually die. But I think that I may die if I do not get this game, so guess it doesn't make much difference.

Date: 2000-12-06 10:56 am (UTC)if they ever get sims for my palm pilot, I'm in *trouble*
I already play simcity on there, it steals from my productive reading time.
I'm loving to my sims... the meanest thing I've dont to them deliberately so far is rearrange the furniture... I wonder what it would be like to wake up in the morning, to find a new tv, and the walls papered in a different pattern?
