It's been a little while since I last heard from my brother. I'm hoping that is a good sign. He's still unaware of my street address, though he could get it with only a modicum of detective work. He's very clever, despite his best efforts to harm his own faculties. No news frequently translates into good news.

Funny---back on the marsh there is someone tha towns a peacock--I actually like their haunting call---even if it is only just a boy trying to get some tail feather.

They remind me of this book that I used to love about India. There were lush gardens and peacocks calling. I can't remember the book---A little Princess maybe?

Why do dryads, will 'o wisps or wood nymphs need to sooth you? If you are a tree the air sooths you. The water sooths you. You stand tall on your own and shade and protect those who look up to you. You thrive not without them, but for them.
