Jordan and I often use the thumbs up to communicate. He lets me know he's ok, or Ic an let him know he's doing well/things are good/I'm proud of him in a crowd or froma cross the room. It also comes in handy when he's on the ice. Sometimes he'll look to me and I'll give a thumbs up for "you're doing great" . If I point at my eyes, it's to remind him to focus and keep his eyes on the puck. There are others too, but most often - hockey or not - I use the thumbs up.
