The RPG Cliche List

These will help my coming healthy lunches out, considerably.

Hickory Smoked, especiallyGeotarget

This has been around on the web for a while, but I still find it fascinating - Louis Wain was an artist who drew images of cats for children's books. As he began to suffer from schizophrenia, his art style changed dramatically.

I detest Tofurky. One year I made a shaped-like-a-turkey Tofurkey. When it came out of the oven, the family stared in silence. We tasted it and immediately went to the nearest Chinese restaurant. Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra...

Heh Tofurky sounds like a swear word.

That schizophernic art was intresting, I think I liked his work beter when we was crazy.

BANGS! That Bryan Adams is one serious tofurky!

I like his crazy work more too... the more glowy deific, the better.

Tasted any of this funky tofurkey? If you find it tasty I might sample some. Though your tastebuds are already living in a vegetarian dimension so I dunno how much I can rely on them!

I eat a lot of deli ham - watched a marathon of House season one last weekend and featured among the many things that can bring doom down upon a person was ham. I don't know why I watch these psuedo medical shows, sometimes the just freak me out :P
Of course season 2 may cover the dire implications of eating tofurkey for all I know...

It's ok, but it's a little different. if your local market is offering samples, I'd give 'em a shot... they're yummy when on a whole what bread with mustard and cheese and lettuce.

I like house, but can't say as I saw House vs the Killer Ham.

I like it pretty well - though I must say their patients typically must go into seizure and get blasted with a shot from the heart-restarting paddles at least once each before they can even hope to be cured.

RPG cliches - Anarchy Law.

I know this so well. Players, even the good ones, seem to think that because they are the players that such things as law and justice in a RPG are not for them, and that they can get away with murder/genocide/whatever as they see fit.

Theres no real way around it without resorting to picking on the players.

"Damsel In Distress Law. Any princess or maiden the players have to rescue can never be unattractive or even average. They must always be beautiful. (Male hostages, on the other hand, can be handsome OR ugly.)"

*sigh* I bet they always have giant boobs too.

Varies, but frequently "heaving bosoms" under a bodice or chain mail bikini.

Oh boy I'd be a horrile gamer---I'd probably be screaming about how ugly girls need rescuing just as much if not more ;D

Well, I'm with you. The thing is those cliches arent in all of 'em ,thank goodness!

Well I for one would be very happy to see a middle aged big-hipped homely gal rescued in a RPG---bonus points if she's a law student :D

That's doable, but I suspect she'd cut out the middleman, rescue herself, and then hang out with the cool dudes at the tavern!
