Nice that Newt can enjoy the patio. In past patio excursions Dart a. licks dirt from the ground and b. explores the edges of the patio until I'm certain she's going to plummet. She seems to like weaving in out of the rails.

You have a housekeeper? How very genteel. I'm jealous, of course, still hoping for mystical house gnomes to turn up around here...

this is a bit of an experiment... Newt's not allowed on the porch without me right at hand - he's still quite the babyhead when it comes to getti g in trouble. No stage-diving newt, though he usually prefers to sniff the perimeter and then curl up with me while I read. Today is Rosemary's first day, trying something new, since newtate all of my helper-trolls, and he has no interest i cleaning thhe tile, kitchen and bath area. I t's not bad, pricewise,

(a day of cleaning costs about a half-night of being on call) well worth it, considering that newt and I both shed a bit. I still do my own linens and such.

he's so pretty <3 I have my own set of 3 helper trolls. They can't reach the cobwebs or dishes but they do pretty good with a vacuum cleaner and a bit of laundry (their own). Next I teach the oldest to cook simple meals and I'm set! A lady of leisure at last....
