GeotargetEternal Double Happiness

CompUSA Manager wasn't in, and nobody could tell me why my overnighted video card isn't there, 4 days later. He should be in today to apologize profusely, and to explain what the deal is.

Robot is winning over Monkey today. Tickly in my throat and a little achy in the joints. Slow morning, or is my body fending off some disease?

Moment of Lyric: (mp3)

When you were young
You were king of carrot flowers,
And how you built a tower tumbling through the trees,
In holy rattlesnakes that fell all round your feet.

And your Mum would stick a fork right into Daddy's shoulder,
And Dad would throw the garbage all across the floor,
As we would lay and learn what each other's bodies were for.

And this is the room one afternoon I knew I could love you,
And from above you how I sank into your soul,
Into that secret place where no-one dares to go.

And your mum would drink until she was no longer speaking,
And Dad would dream of all the different ways to die,
Each one a little more than he could dare to try

Funny how cake for breakfast isn't right, but a chocolate doughnut supposedly is. One is a prism or cube, the other, a torus. Is it the shape that makes it acceptable? Back on yogurt and cheerios today.

Apheresis went well last night, except that I neglected to go pee before getting plugged in, and I got a bit fidgety around the last 20 minutes of donation. *NOTE* Even if you don't think you have to go, try. Pretend it's a long car trip. No premiums yesterday, but I always enjoy famous Amos baby-cookies.

Happy toothy bunny. Aww.

Half of the world's population under the influence of a mind altering virus.

Some scientists believe that Toxoplasma changes the personality of its human hosts, bringing different shifts to men and women. Parasitologist Jaroslav Flegr of Charles University in Prague administered psychological questionnaires to people infected with Toxoplasma and controls. Those infected, he found, show a small, but statistically significant, tendency to be more self-reproaching and insecure. Paradoxically, infected women, on average, tend to be more outgoing and warmhearted than controls, while infected men tend to be more jealous and suspicious.

Intresting article about the virus, not sure I buy it, at least its too early to tell, but it would make nice fodder for a sci-fi story or screenplay.

I like the Flying Dogs video. spiffy song too.

The flying dogs video still confuses me with how they got some of the shots and angles... Anti-gravity fur!

The mind-altering virus does seem a little fortean, but it is fun tale-fodder, like you say.

"cake for breakfast isn't right, but a chocolate doughnut supposedly is."

I've always wondered why steak & egg breakfast is normal, but chicken breast & veggies are not. (I was doing Atkins)
For breakfast, my russian friends don't eat sugar coated cereal, french toast with syrup, toast with loads of butter & jam, cinnamon buns, Etc. They often eat a meat cutlet and veggies...but over here, mention it to someone, and you can see their confusion & their brains melting at the thought of it. :D

Seems like I'm hearing more people talk about portion size, and less about ingredients & food choices in the first place. Some articles seem to be making a bigger point of portions, instead of ingredients, too.

Oh & cold pizza! Mention cold pizza leftovers for breakfast, and sometimes you get a little chorus of "Mmmm!" from others. But chicken breast is weird? Triangle versus blob shape. :D

I don't know why chicken breast would be weird... I know more than a few guys that love cold fried chicken from the night before, right out of the fridge! A breast is even easier, no bones to slow you down!

That's a good point... we certainly have gut-buster sized portions here, rather than Europe/Asia. 96 ounce steaks? What kind of lumberjack needs that?
