GeotargetThe nudge feature is mostly pointless, I think. You could accomplish the the same thing handily with an e-mail or comment in their journal. I hope that they continue to implement other more groovy features. I do confess that it's interesting to see when some of the more tardy people have last posted... I'm more likely to just drop someone that hasn't posted in about three months. (unless they're a very special circumstance)

I've found that I have another superpower: the ability to make RS have to go pee. If we get into a discussion about anything for more than a minute or three, she has to rush off to the potty, do her business and come back when done. This has been documented at least a dozen times, and she's able to stay at her desk for hours on end.

Last night's dream involved me being strapped to a table with electrodes bolted to my ankles. When they ran current through them, all of my skin began to peel like a bad sunburn and underneath the fresh skin was a dark, mossy green. Somehow I knew that the treatments were causing a strange growth of all my internal flora... whatever else touched the new skin (like a a scalpel) it burned and was turned quickly to vapor. I don't recall any smells. They finally figured out that shark's teeth could touch the new skin without burning up, so they incised and pulled out the rock that was making the bad plant-reaction in my body. I was healed, and buried the rock in the ground of an empty lot, hoping it would help jump start a fresh garden there.

It's hard to chop down a tree with a saw made of shark's teeth.

No Dice going out with Dave or Dave last night... Today it's going to be more solo journeys, methinks.

Moment of Lyric:

Me and your sister
Went by the river
Your sister jump in the water
I jump in after
I'll never forget,
Everything was set
But I didn't get
She Tell me yes
She Tell me no
She tell me nonononono.

Oh! The 2nd verse was same as the first, I looked at wavy lines... a lot of people went all psychological rather than psychic, and picked ones that weren't too heavily looked at the last time.

I wonder if filtered sunlight is like a delicacy to plants? Would some like the "taste" of light coming through a stained glass window more than raw light?

So would you call that dream a nightmare, or just a normal dream to you? Curious...because I think you can handle dark things better than I can. For me, I would think of it as a nightmare.

I felt a tinge of excitement regarding the new button, but when I realized it was a "nudge" button, I wasn't impressed. Same with the "see more userpics" link they added to our info pages. I hope it's a sign they're working on more cool stuff. I would like to be able to add gifs of the front covers of books I'm reading, and other stuff to my journal page..like typepad.com & other blog people have. I would also like to see them make it so that changing your journal layout isn't brain science. :( That said...I'm greatful that LJ doesn't cost a lot, & you get much in return! :0)

...oh my gosh on the pee thing! :D Have you noticed if she seems nervous by looking at her facial expressions or body language?

I wasn't really scared by the dream and it had a happy ending, so I didn't think of it as a nightmare... I've had less horrific-sounding dreams scare me a lot more. My nightmares are usually involving loss or being chased by an outside force.

I wouldn't mind a currently reading cover image, or even a currently listening album cover!

I agree about the lj layout stuff.. s2 hinders programmers and is a bit arcane for non-programmer types.

I don't think that she's nervous... I suspect that she just talks to me with a bad sense of timing. (right after morning coffee, or after lunch)
