GeotargetSee what happens after I move away from Los Olas? They paint the whole area with free wifi. There were a ton of free hotspots to start with, but now it seems pretty constant. I'm just glad the main library has a big touchstone now.... students can bring their own appliances in and get data, rather than wait on the computer banks in the 3rd, fifth and ground floors. I can only imagine how much bittorrenting of pirated er, archival stuff over a big open network will happen.

I might get a chance to hang out with Dave Attell this week or next. More on that as it happens or doesn't. He's back on tour.

Hey, the whole run of the Flash tv show is out of DVD! all 21 episodes plus the 90 minute Pilot.

newt and mr man
Newton Meets Mr. Man.

newt and mr man
Mr. Man gestures hypnotically, to put the giant beast in his thrall, and...

newt and mr man
Chomp! Newt treats him like Tyr. Mr. Man must be from Newfoundland, a smoker or a fascist.

BONUS VIDEO - I Taunt Newton with a plastic bag, and then needlessly compare him to a Fox News personality. 665k quicktime movie via palmtop (on Youtube as a flash video too)

I have a flat wooden Ms. Man and Pye chew her toes off--I had to get rid of her for her own safety.

Pye thinks paper bags are the most fun to run into from across the room--even if he ends up running into things with his noggin' becuase he cant see them. Pye usually uses plastic bags for chewin'.

uh, oh... I may have to put mr man someplace safe like a drawer when not in use, if that's going to keep up.

Newt likes to attack flat-bottomed paper bags, too... plastic, he tends to get all the way inside and rub on.

So what are you doing with these art supplies? Are you going to start drawing a comeek? I didn't know you drew aside from the drawing in your palm!

I doodle, but just was thinking of building another skillset.

Besides, the cool manikin was only 4 bucks.:D

Well you must make sure you capture the teeny tiny little bite marks on the mannequins hands when you draw it---it'll give it that uber-realistic touch. I always wanted to do a comic based on my dearly departed hairless rat Miles---I wanted to call it Franken-rat---then I remembered it would be had to do without any talent for drawing.

Heck, the manikin's just for reference, I'll reveal the huge chompy bitemarks on my own hands! :D

Aww, you had a hairless rat!

That lil' gremlin bites you? tell him his approval rating with me just went down from 100 to 80 percent!

I had a hairless rat named Miles---he was smart and OCD about his little nest area and litter box trained and so very adorable. Unfortunately genetic mutants like him don't live the normal life span so he passed away at a year and a half old. I wasn't a fan of rats until him. I basically got him from a horrible pet store where he was crowded in a cage with other rats with hair that were tormenting him.

If left to myself I'd probably have pets everywhere--if the llamas on the way to school weren't behind a fence I'd probably have brought one home by now ;D

he doesn't really bite, more like "grips" when we wrestle.

He won't draw blood or anything. :D

Aww.. Llamas! Have you seen edbook and ilenebooks journal? they've got tons o' cutie llamas!

I see--Pye is more of a toe, foot and calf man--luckily my hands are usually spared. Now that I see the video Newt's approval rating is back up especially since it looks as if you are attacking him (I'll have to check on your approval rating though :D).

I've not seen ed or ilenebook's journal--I'll take a peek!

Yup... I'm guilty of giving him a slow moving target to attack.. that's how I wear him out before brushing his teefies!

I love the way Newt bullets in for a surprise attack on the back, and then looks utterly disgusted an ripped off when it's empty. Like he's thinking "OK, yeah, haha, fooled me again. Big man with the empty bag." On the other hand, killing a bag is fun in its own right.

Ah, he loves plastic bags, full or empty. :D

That is an excellent Mr. T icon! Did you know Mr. T has his own comic book title now? Two issues so far, of which I am the proud owner, of course...

Newt can totally do the puss in boots face, when he lowers his ears a bit, and just moons at you with big ol' eyes.
