GeotargetLetterman 1 - O'Reilly 0

"I have the feeling that 60% of what you say is crap..." and with that Dave Letterman captured the essence of what is Bill O'Reilly. (via onegoodmove thanks firpo for putting me on to that site)

Letterman gets in quite a few good shots in the video.

Moment of Lyric (swf video)

Lying in the corner of a room with a stick in my hand
I'm pointing my stick at a far away land
My stick it has no leaves it grieves me to say
I'm gonna find a new stick then I'll be, I'll be on my way

I want to row you across the ocean so blue
Till we find the man
Who kissed all the women in Japan

Old women with no face trying to call out my name
Screaming she's just been stabbed by a
Chargrilled accountant from Spain
Would you like to dance with me
She whispers from three miles away
We could dance the tango the I'll be,
Oh I will be on my way

I want to row you across the ocean so blue
Until we find the man
Who drowned all the children in Iran

Which Clue character are you?

I wonder how many people in the world worship the moon... actively pray and give offerings?

Kind of odd to think of someone else wandering around downtown Fort Lauderdale, and noting that was where I took pictures.. this sort of thing makes me wonder how often I come up in conversation amongst folks I've never met in person?

That is rather odd. I mean I'm a fan of you (on LJ, for quiz snagging) but I don't plan to go to your hometown, which I didn't know of until I read this, and base my sight seeing on what you do there. :boggle: Rather uncomfortable yes. Um by the way... what was it again you like on pizza? ;)

Well, I don't think it was a trip based on what I did... more like "hey, this is all the junk Scotto used to post!"

Me? I like Mushroom, Onions and olives!

Cool I'll make a note and if I'm ever in FL I'll have me a mushroom, onion, olive, pizza and tell the waiter the tip is from you LOL And if he happens to know you then I'll feel foolish :P But if he doesn't I will laugh like a pirate, mortifying my sister, therefore pulling off two weirdnesses in one! Yay me!

But seriously, its just weird that the guy remembered stuff that he read like that. I've known ppl for years and they'd be lucky I remembered what shirt they wore yesterday much less stuff they wrote in their blog. *shrug* just me.

That moon icon is sassy. I used to collect moon piccies but then lost my hosting so that went down the drain. Now there's so many that its kind of pointless to collect them. I am a regular visitor of the NASA website and when outdoors I always check to see if it's still there. Probably I'd worship it if my neighbors wouldn't lynch me.

Cool Letterman clip! Bill O’Reilly strikes me as an opportunist ridding the wave he happened to catch, the man came from inside edition, he’s a tabloid TV shark ready to bite at what ever chum falls into the water, he just happened to bite into this mouth piece for the right wing thing.
Having someone you've never met noting things in reference to you does seem odd, but then you've got a popular blog and folks feel as if they know you and to a certain extent they do, the Live Journal you anyway, so I guess this means you a bit of a LJ celebrity.

Date: 2006-01-08 09:36 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] scottobear.livejournal.com
I agree... and suspect that he'd be a liberal larry if that was the way the tv tide was flowing, too.

I sometimes wonder how much people get about me from reading my journal... of course I don't post everything publicly, or even filtered for just a few. I'd consider myself a b-list lj celeb, if that... like the bad guy from the good the bad and the ugly... everyone knows who clint eastwood is, but not so many folks get who lee van cleef is. (Unless they're a fan of the old tv show "master ninja!"

Hey Lee Van Cleef is cool by me, I’d rather meet him than a lot of so called A listers (providing he’s still alive of course), but my favorite actor/character in that movie was Eli Wallach/Tuco. I love that movie btw, mostly because of the character of Tuco; I read his part kept getting bigger as the movie went on because the Leone enjoyed his performance so much.

From: [identity profile] scottobear.livejournal.com
Sadly, Mr. Van Kleef died of a heart attack in 1989.

As a consolation prize, here is Lee Van Kleef on the back of a giraffe.

Tuco was probably my favorite character, too... eh, blondie?

You've got to admire someone that wonderfully oily and just plain tuco-esque.

Go Lee Go!

Tuco despite being so such an oily snake, also managed to be damn likable too, which is no small feat.

Ah, he's just a lad -- and going to my old high school at that. No harm in a little teenage stalking... my quarry at 15 were aussie pop stars though. Seems from his web page he's in a band... it's almost anti-stalking, the tables have turned.

I am not sure how my score can be so close to Kaylee and Zoe at the same time - only 5% difference - though I admit it pleases me:
