I'm reminded of the old computer Game Blood - An evil god has taken over the world, and you're out to stop him. Not because it's the right thing to do, not because you want to restore the world, but because you were the gods right-hand man and he didn't give you what he promised. And that really pissed you off. Heroic actions, selfish reasons. And a fun game as well.

What ie am I partial to? Do you mean which "ie" word? Simple, my friend -- I'll make you guess. Or do you mean which pie, without the "p," for indeed, "p" can ruin pie ... if you have to ask why ... well, don't. I won't answer. I like pecan, as long as it's not over-cooked. I like peanut butter pie, as long as it's not too rich and sweet. I like chocolate silk ... in any variation whatsoever. Almost every year, my best friend from high school makes pistachio pie which is always a treat. And I'm very fond of Dutch apple pie, hot, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream right on top, cold. Me oh my, how I like pie. And let's not forget a nice chicken pot pie or vegetable pie. Which pie I favor at any given time is as inconsistent as my mood, I suppose.
