I'm curious... what comprises the best breakfast in bed?

I like french toast with powdered sugar and maple syrup... some scrambled eggs, cold cereal, and orange juice with coffee....a flower with the morning paper to top it off, while my love snuggles in next to me....

other folks like cream, jam or other condiments with french toast....

what's your ideal breakfast? (in bed or not)

excuse the omnivore in me, but my fav breakfast is an omlet of vegies and cheese, bacon or ham slices, multi grain toast w/butter and orange marmalaide, apple juice or orange, coffee- black, melon slices and grapes and small chunks of cheese on toothpicks, a rose in a vase and a good bbok to read, and someone to share it all with. *sigh* romantic, huh? o! cant forget the music, there Must be music. something soft on the ears and mind.

Food of some kind. I generally don't eat in the mornings, partially because of time, partially because I don't like waiting in the line at school.

Sometimes I snack in between classes though.

A hamburger.

Maybe a turkey burger.

Cheddar cheese, melted.

Very grilled onions.

A bit of ketchup.

Potato chips smooshed on top of the burger and onions by the bun.

A cold Diet Pepsi, with ice.

That's my perfect breakfast, in bed or not.

Or I could totally go for that right now.

I'm drooling.

Damn, I'm hungry...

French toast with coconut milk substituted for milk, butter and orange blossom honey on top. Hot herbal tea with milk and honey, or maybe cocoa, with lots of cinnamon.
And of course, my love snuggled next to me.

brekkie

In bed? I'd order in a Western sandwich delivered from Vera's diner. She's this great Greek lady and her westerns are fabulous. And a couple sausages on the side and toast with strawberry jam. And lots of coffee. And a smoke with my newpaper when I'm done. Thanks for asking :)
Now I'm hungry...

I'm not a big breakfast eater. Usually for me, I'll go with pop tarts, a bowl of cereal, toaster strudel and some milk or juice.
When I was in the hospital, the breakfast I chose the most was bacon, eggs, with a buttermilk biscuit and hot tea. That's one of the things I was allowed to choose for breakfast because of the diet they had me on. It wasn't all that bad, but I'm not that much of a bacon eater.
If a person's going to really eat breakfast, I'd say steak and eggs, with hashbrowns, toast and orange juice.
My perfect breakfast is usually a sandwich, chips and coke.

Breakfast.

My ideal breakfast-

Chorizo, scrambled eggs, salsa, tortillas, some extra fresh cilantro on the side with some horchata and Pepsi. And a McDonald's hash brown. I don't know why but they have the best greasy/crunchy ratio.

I've never had breakfast in bed, usually my sweetie and I eat a midnight snack or dinner in bed, and if I got up early enough for breakfast I wouldn't want to have it in bed, I'd like to be awake, showered, dressed, and sitting across the table from John, watching him eat waffles with extra butter and cold cereal with whole milk.

And I wouldn't spill *anything* on my shirt!

I don't normally eat breakfast and I can't say I've ever had breakfast in bed, but I do know that one of my favorite comfort foods for breakfast are Burger King Croissan'whiches. YUMMMMM!

I have never had french toast before. I'm going to have to try it someday.
Pop tarts are the best raw. I remember when I was six years old, we spent the summer in Minnesota while my dad was on a job. My mom and older sister went to Oregon, and my brother was working with my dad. So it was just me and my fifteen year old sister. She usually gave me pop tarts, (raw, because the trailer didn't have a toaster)kaboom cereal, or fruity pebbles mixed with chocolate syrup. I got my first cavity that year. Heh.
So now that I've rambled off subject, what's your favorite pop tart flavor?

Chorizo! Horchata! Mmmmmm. I actually found a place called El Molino that I call for dinner once in awhile - they deliver - the best chorizo and potato burritos you can have. And none of my friends believe me that horchata comes from the same stuff that tequila does. I love agave.

Yay! I'm with you! Forget the McBiscuit breakfasts -- too dry. I say fork out the $2.50 and buy the Crossan'which meal with the breakfast tots and an OJ. It's almost worth getting up before 11 a.m. to have at that!
