Early AM - first bus from new hq

Walk from home to bus stop is 20 minutes. Left this morning at 5:30, just to

be extra sure of a timely arrival at work. Also testing semagic's "auto

post" feature. It should update my lj at 6.



Bus picked me up at 6am, and had nobody aboard - by 6:10, it was about 25%

full. made it to the office by 7am. looks like I can sleep in until 6ish,

and be out the door by 6:40 safely.

Looks like a great little (big?) shop to wander through, and giggle at the things folks might put up around their houses.

Auto post worked! I may have to give that a shot at some point.

Your new place looks great too - I love the 'green space' in the courtyard.

What's weird, is that I get this weird "homey" feeling in those shops. I think it's because they remind me of the 70's, and that decade's kitschy stuff...er...something. :0)


Plastic aster eggs along with oodles kitschy statues...interesting combo. :D Looks like part of a stuffed monkey next to the eggs, too.

the eggs are actually all hoity-toity "hand carved alabaster"

I thought they had prizes inside before I looked closely, too.

good eye spotting the teddybear/whatever it is! I seem to recall that was some sort of greeting card with a picture on it.

I like junk shops, but prefer wierd curios, like shrunken heads and old books. :D
