9579 - Tuesday

Beware the 13th!

Sick as a very sick dog. Got as far as the Metro station, and turned around and went home as I started hacking like a plague victim. BHK spun me around and home we went. Coughing due to infection blended with poor lungs in the bitter cold and firewood smoke, I think.

Slept most of the day. Ate some noodle soup, saltines, and a lot of ginger ale.

Eyes too tired to read - drained the Tivo remaining Dr. Who episodes. I liked the evil "shadow monster in the library planet" episode - fun, goofy, but spooky and sad, too.

Newton, Pye and BHK are all excellent caretakers while I'm a big sick baby.
