Wallace & Gromit didn't disappoint... it was excellent, and wasn't watered down at all. Lots forany age to enjoy, plus a number of fine nods to classic horror films to boot. Plenty of laugh out loud moments, and the opening feature with the Madagascar penguins was also excellent. The kids at the show had a great time, and there were no screaming babies or annoying cell phones.

Aside from that, walkies were composed of roaming the Aventura mall and people-watching. There is a huge population of cuties, elders, kids and tourists to eyeball, not to mention punks, thugs, goths and other pseudo-fashion trendies.

It was nice to sleep in and then go out and about mostly undisturbed.

Thought about dying a colored streak in my hair for halloween... gray, and when asked about it at work, just claiming "what I saw... I can never tell... anyone. ever." and then shuddering, saying no more.

I wanted to see W&G last night, but they were sold out at my place. :(
I have a video tape of them from yearrrrs ago, that I won't give up, until I find the DVD somewhere cheap.

I saw Flightplan instead. Don't waste your time. :P

Is the 2nd pic inside a mall?

yup! pic #2 is in the aventura mall, from the 2nd floor.

I've heard ol' flightplan is a stinker. I have all three W&G movies on videotape, too... I look forward with great hope for DVD versions.

By all means, do see W&G... I think you'll love it. :D

The scene up in Tottie's 'private' greenhouse was just *too* much!

Especially 'round about the time she sidled up behind that lovely pair of ... erm... melons.

You could literally hear all the parents in the theatre trying not to laugh, and wishing that I wasn't laughing so loud... 'Mommy, why's that lady laughing so hard? Why's it funny?'

Bhahaha...

I so wanted to see Wallace and Gromit this weekend--but I don't think its going to happen. I AM walking around repeating my favorite W&G word "crackin'" as in--"Crackin' good toast"

I'm glad that you enjoyed the walkabout and the movie. It's great that you finally got some time off call, so that you can do those things. Ans a little extra sleep never hurts either.

someone on my friends list made a post yesterday about Wallace and Grommit - apparently on the island of Portland they never use the word "rabbit" because it's unlucky, so all the ads for the movie say "the curse of the were bunny" and they won't show it on the island - everyone has to go to the mainland to watch it.

I think your idea for Halloween rocks!

how weird! I wonder how many other rabbit items are forbidden??

thanks! I wonder how many superstitious folks would believe my gray-story?
