7783 - Chex Mix of stuff.

I heard the sound of water dripping on tile, looked down, and noticed my foot was bleeding. A tiny puddle of red had formed, before I staunched the flow with a paper towel. I have no idea what I cut myself on, but I didn't even feel it.
Going out to lunch with Jenjen this afternoon. Hopefully, it'll be funfun!
I wonder what

I suspect all the power spikes gave it a fry. Next paycheck, I'll grab a new video card, and see how that works.

Video Journal Entry. Nothing special, really.
I sometimes read the word "Flower" (like the plant) as "FLOH-er" (like something that flows).
Icon o' the day - Rainbow Raider!
"We're gonna find our father, but between everything here and there, we're going to kill everything bad."
I heard that quote played in the background while I was reading stuff online. The show was Supernatural but I thought about how keen it would be if these two were just delusional murderers raised by some psycho who got trotted off to jail. I flashed to the "monster hunters" are killing innocent people who were impeding there progress in recovering their father from some institution.... the show, instead of being another "Project Bluebook/X-files/Chill Game" type gig could instead be the insane POV of a pair of guys sublimating homicidal activities with some severe schizo hallucinations. Two guys traveling around leaving a trail of bodies in their wake, blaming invisible "monsters" nobody's ever seen. The FBI is going to take 'em down, and soon.
That said, I actually kind of like Supernatural for what it actually is... yet another bogey-hunter show.
National Geographic has a live webcam pointed at an African watering hole. "Embark on a quiet adventure and watch wildlife gather at Pete's Pond. Baby baboons scurry in the dust. Wildebeests push and shove to make room at the watering hole. Warthogs wallow in the mud. Catch these moments and more in these video clips." See Also - Baby Panda cam! and of course, NewtCam.
I'm happy. I saw elephants. Speaking of which, this would make a great tattoo -

You are the Lovers card. The Lovers card is about
union. Each of us carries in our DNA the
ability to be the opposite of what we think we
are. Often our romantic attachments grow out of
awe and respect as we see in another the
characteristics we repress in ourselves.
Society often presses us into molds of what it
thinks masculinity and femininity should be. As
a result, many of us associate with our gender
certain positive characteristics and call
others negative, when if these same qualities
were held by a person of the opposite sex, our
attitude towards them would be reversed.
Getting in touch with our inner animus and
anima, (Jung's terms for our inner male and
female), allows us to see the whole of our
personalities in a positive and constructive
light. When you draw The Lovers card in a
reading, you are working with balancing these
forces. Depending on where the card is, you
have either achieved balance or need to. The
Lovers could indicate a romantic or even a
platonic relationship. Ask yourself is this is
a positive relationship that contributes to
your growth as a complete human being, or if it
fills an emotional craving within you that is
actually detrimental to your personal growth.

You are Death! You are cheerful and pleasant, but
you have a deeper meaning. You are optimistic,
and can irritate people by this. However, you
can also be firm and thoughtful.

Personal Theories about Lost:
The numbers are favorite tracks from They Might Be Giants' Apollo 18 album, except for 23 which is (Also See everywhere), and 42, which is the answer to life, the universe and everything.
Desmond is a Were-Polar Bear. He's injecting himself with actual Polar Bear Urine to stop the transformations, and his protein shakes are really made with fertilized penguin eggs. All Scotsmen are something supernatural, either immortals, 00 secret agents, or the like.

P.S. there's supposed to be a baby panda cam at one of the major zews right now. National zoo maybe? Blog (oof..don't make me say that word) keep talking about it, but I haven't looked yet. About 4 years ago, another zoo (or same) had a streaming, baby panda cam, & it was worth it.

I thin the ones on the right are "similar" videos, that have one or more identical keywords. :)
when (if?) you shave your legs, do you feel it when you nick yourself?
no subject
Date: 2005-10-14 03:24 am (UTC)Yeah, I feel it when I nick. Kind of a odd, annoying feeling, but not painful.
My brain can't wrap around not shaving. I've noticed when girls don't shave at all, I see it out of the corner of my eye, and my brain assumes it's dirt on their legs. Weird, huh? I do a double take & then see it's not. It's not uncommon to see unshaved legs in Austin....so you'd think after 15 (16?) years my brain would have adjusted to it by now.
Do you feel it on your face if you nick? Seems face nicks tend to bleed more than leg nicks!
Go see the panda cam, if you're on right now. It's insane cutness~
