Susie is working Friday nights now as bartender... that shuffled Mariah to thurdaysa, and Melissa right off the schedule... not cool, even if Susie is a total doll. Melissa got fairly hosed out of the deal. The New Weekend manager is Larry's Ex-wife, and seems ok, but Gil is still my fave.

Random Scotto factoid: I say thank you to automatic doors. Also, in the morning, when I'm the first one to the building, I'll gesture with my hand forward, and trip the mechanism while saying "Sim-sim-sala-bim!"

Thats an evil (but cool) looking storm cloud in that photo. Overhere we very rarely get storms like that. In fact I can only remember two in my whole life. What Britain usually gets is cold grey clouds with flashes of lightning.

Ha! I do a variation of the automatic door thing - I think "Open Sesame!" I made the mistake of telling my sister about this. She now mocks me whenever we go through automatic doors. "You're doing it again, aren't you?" she'll squeal at me. This is why I usually shop alone.

This reminds me of driving in the car with my mother and 3 siblings. We'd be stuck at a red light, and my mother would tell us that if we all blew on the light hard enough, it would change to green. And it ALWAYS did :) Now I know that she was just trying to shut us the $&#%@ up for 3 seconds, but at the time it was magic....
