2nd Batch of allergy shots, and then platelets. I have to see if I can still donate today after the shot.

Dan goes back to school tomorrow or Friday, for kids begin on Monday. I wonder if we'll get to goof of any more before he's back in the grind?

The New Semagic LJ client is a lot friendlier to tags.

Moment of Lyric:

When I wake up yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who wakes up next to you
When I go out yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who goes along with you
If I get drunk yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you
And if I haver yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked 1,000 miles
To fall down at your door
When I'm working yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's working hard for you
And when the money comes in for the work I'll do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home yeah I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who comes back home to you
And if I grow old well I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's growing old with you

When I'm lonely yes I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the man who's lonely without you
When I'm dreaming yes I know I'm gonna dream
Dream about the time when I'm with you

Flickr explore, interesting photos in the last 24 hours and clustering for tags.

I'm glad that June and July are in the past. Those are usually the two worst months of my year, stretching pretty far back.

Today is Bro's arraignment. I suspect he'll get off with a mild wrist-slapping as long as he keeps his wits about him. That's a tricky proposition at best, though.I suspect that he'll be in for two months at the worst. I told him to bring his junk over to my place for storage, so he doesn't have to go through last time's "vanishing goods" situation.

Local Graffiti Taggers Caught in sting, including Dose & Normel.

Local cops crack down on graffiti artists in "Operation Tagger." It is a new joint effort by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Gang Unit, Tactical Unit, Community Policing, West Palm Beach Police Department, and the State Attorney's Office.

It already has resulted in five arrests. Cops say the suspects caused over a million dollars of damage by vandalizing public and private property throughout Palm Beach County.

Eric Goertz, 22, of West Palm Beach is facing the most charges of those arrested. Officials say he used the graffiti tag "Normel" to mark his work, along with the monikers "Fosl,""Baler," "Dose," "Tahoe," "Drama," "Ego," and "Sauce".

Also under arrest are:
Nickolas J. Grant, 27, of Boynton Beach
Ryan Joseph Gallagher, 23, of West Palm Beach
Kantor Konrad, 20, of Palm Beach
William Raspa, 30, of Jupiter

Cops say the men used spray paint, markers, acid etching tools to vandalize property. Investigators say they videotaped their crimes and kept records on a web site.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has two new weapons in its war on graffiti, one to stop it and another to clean it up.

The sheriff's office set up a hotline to report graffiti. The number is (561) 688-4278. You can if you see someone in the process of vandalizing or to report it after the fact. The hotline is for graffiti in unincorporated Palm Beach County.

The sheriff's office also introduced the Graffiti Buster. It is a 2002 Dodge 1500 pick-up truck with a trailer. They have pressure cleaners, spray paint machines, and paint on board. Deputies will take inmates from the jail to use the Graffiti Buster to clean up graffiti.

More info here, too.

I can't believe the average age of those guys was 25 years old... some stunted development there. I'd expect that stuff from teenagers, not 20-somethings.

Some Newt pictures to make me happy. Clicking on 'em generally makes 'em bigger if you look at all sizes on flickr.

Holy crap! You are:
You're an intellectual. You're never the one to pick fights, but you don't run from them either, so you rarely get into trouble. You are also more disciplined and in control of situations than most people. But when you DO decide to lose it... God help us!

I must be blind... this version of semagic looks identical in handling tags (or keywords as it insists) as the last version.

What are you seeing?

it harvests tags form each entry you make -

Notes:
1.5.2.6<<1.5.2.3

Tag list
Only tags used within the client. Tags are stored on posting or
opening via history. taglist.txt can be manually edited. Go to
http://www.livejournal.com/manage/tags.bml
select all tags and paste tag list into the file.
Or create an entry with all tags and open it via history.

there's now an arrow that allows grabbing them instead of just typing them all in after the first use.

I made a private post with all of my tags, and then the list stuck with me. (unfortunately, it seems there's no way to synch tags with lj as yet, so if you add new tags, they only come if you've done entries in sema.

How can you be so quik to judge somebody, if you really take a look at the news article it is all fraudulent. One man is blamed for 7 differant people? Palm Beach Post is one of the most poorly written and uninformative news papers, and the media obtained all of there videos of arrests and documentatrion from the police- so esentially the police might as well write all the articles. Do you really think it is fair to give an "accused" young man with no legal history over 50 years in jail for spray paint?

The only judgement that I made was that someone in the 20s was running aorund with a spraycan.

50 years in jail seems excessive, I agree

a person that steals a car and crashes it into a wall gets 2 years probation. a conceptual artist that gets blamed for ALL graffiti in pbc gets the gas chamber- then suddenly they get a graffiti buster truck! haha

the newspaper is all lies. An interesting point you made up about the ages. Usualyl when people think of graffiti artists they thing a 14 year old minority in a gang, now we have art college students doing graffiti- maybe there is more to it then just simple maliscious vandalism? or maybe its all gang and everyone needs to shut the fuck up so we can pay for cleaning everything and keep people ignorant.

well i think that wat the police did was wrong..wrong..
there was a hispanic in this crew ..i know it but they dont know jack shit about who they arrested...poor guy..if you make him pay of all the art he motevated others to do then the total can go up to over 10million because alot of taggers became wath there are cuz of normel...they saw wat normel did..copied it and they too are part of this..its a sad way home going down 95..no new tags..no new art..no nothing..just plain walls..they should make it llegal to do graffiti on these walls..the curent graffiti looks bad..but if you are allowed to do it then the quality of the graffiti would be beter..come on..most people like to see new graffiti on 95..it makes the trip just a bit nicer
