Thick rain, but didn't sleep much last night. On call today... hopefully it'll be nice and peaceful. EN forgot to launch the SP calls at 7 pm last night, so I'm going to fire 'em off tonight.

Some slight ankle-pain in my left leg. I wonder if it's a result of my drop foot and the weather pressure change?

Somehow, a little brown mouse got into the house after all the rain last night - he ran under my dresser, and Newt wants a piece of him really badly. Neither Newt or myself can get at the little guy right now, but it's only a matter of time.

Downloaded the Audios of Hat Full of Sky and Going Postal, since I couldn't locate it in text format. We'll see if I can get into listening to the book on the bus rather than reading it. If they're good, I may go back and get the rest in that format. The problem with audio is that I can go from active to passive listening, and miss things during change of focus. When I read, it's always active. If I had the book playing in the background while I read LJ or the like, audio will still be head, but some subtleties can drop off. Snatched TV like Lost or Dr. Who is easier to grip, because my eyes are on it.

I had no idea you were so close to what might have been one of my favorite homes.

I lived at the Villa JoQuinn for years somethere around here:

I would ride my bike to work on Las Olas at an ad agency above the Yellow Strawberry:

And spent the formative social years at the Mudhouse over at Progresso Plaza:

Here I was wondering why I had never heard of the Yellow Strawberry after living in Ft. Lauderdale most of my life. Duh, beauty salon.

Aye. It's in my trusty RSS reader so I pop-in now and again. I don't blog so I read other people's blogs instead.

I've actually switched over to the Sage RSS extension for Firefox. Small, easy to use, finds all RSS feeds for the current page I'm browsing and all RSS feeds are saved in the same HTML file as all my bookmarks for single stop shopping and backup. Now they need a podcasting extension!

hmm.. I'll have to check that out! podcasting is a double edged sword for me... I like something that I can read quickly. If someone's going to podcast, I 'd hope for a transcript, so I can search on it, etc.
