Raining like all the doggies in doggie heaven were let out into the yard at the same time.

First day of hurricane season, and it looks like Ma Nature is making the effort to drive a point home. I had food delivered for lunch today - BBQ tofu burger and fries. yummy, and they made a point of giving me lots of hot tater-sticks this time. (last go-round, I suspect the driver may've gotten munchies on the way over.)

any hurricane-related purchases for the next 2 weeks is tax-exempt, and home depot is doing an additional discount too. I'm due to pick up a new cooler, I think.

Water is coming down in huge, heavy drops, and the sky's cloudy.

I'd love to be home curled up in a ball under a cool sheet with a nice nap now.

This weather sucks. The stupid storm woke me up.. kept me up.. and had the nerve to fry the modem.
