Haven't even given the first thought to doing this week's writing assignment before now. It's due tomorrow. I Seem to do better when I'm pressed for time, and just crunch into it over an hour or three.

#3 is "Write a scene or a poem about the loneliness of someone who works in a busy or crowded venue.". I suspect that mootpoint and myid8myego will have more to draw from than I will. I've been pretty far from lonely with Newt around for the last five or so years.

The fact that the panties are Japanese makes it likely that they are a real product. It's a convergence of two Japanese cultural obsessions- the wonders of modern technology and the assumed perfidy of women. It wasn't that long ago that Japanese men still made their wives wear chastity belts. The country may be modern, but it still has a lot of medieval traits just below the surface.

Heh. I hadn't looked at the testimonials. They do appear to be tongue-in-cheek. Also, I noticed that the URL is a .org, rather than what one would expect from a Japanese commercial web site. A Google search brought this.
