Working a bit on my current story exercise, and I'm sort of stuck. my usual method is to find a scene and spin a circle outwards from there. I keep changing the guts of the seed, though, and that is causing me to restart the process. More than a few times. I need to find a good core and stick with it, and just save the "nifty, but doesn't fit" ideas for later stuff.

I could really go for some crinkle cut fries and a chocolate milkshake. I woke up looking for that. Odd urge for 6am. I wonder if I'm pregnant. Doubt it. I'm just a glutton, and dig the conflicting sensations of salt and sweet, hot and cold. Plus, it's bad for me, so it's automatically more appealing, since I'm a human.

I'm also a little congested this morning... I hope that I'm not catching my annual cold.

Local ickies - livejournal leads to local unlawful sexual activity.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. -- Detectives say a Pompano Beach man who was carrying on a sexual relationship with an underage girl is now facing serious charges.

Broward sheriff's detectives said that they received an anonymous tip that Joseph Pagano Jr., 26, was having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.

Wednesday, sex crime detectives and members of the LEACH (Law Enforcement Against Child Harm) task force went to speak with the girl at her parents’ home in Margate. The parents told investigators their daughter was visiting one of her girlfriends. The parents said they then found out the teen was with Pagano.

Pagano brought the girl home and agreed to speak with detectives. During questioning, detectives said Pagano and the girl admitted to having a sexual relationship that started after they met on a computer journal site.

Investigators said that Pagano and the girl met nearly every day since April 23. Pagano would pick up the girl from her home, without her parents’ knowledge, and take her to his apartment in Pompano Beach, where the two would engage in various sexual activities, according to detectives.

Pagano was arrested Wednesday night on 28 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and five counts of battery.

I like the conflicting flavors and textures in my food too, but I am very discriminatory about the order in which I consume them. I don't like them mixed unless I do the mixing, which I hardly ever do. i.e., I'm not a fan of root beer floats, but I love the flavors independent and within seconds of each other. Salty and sweet is swell too, but I still want my trail mix separated. Again, I want my peanut to m&m ratio monitored.

I don't know why this is. I almost feel uppity because of it and that is almost shameful…

nothing wrong with being particular about your food.. you're like james bond.. like your floats unstirred.

I'm the same way... I'd much prefer a scoop of ice cream with a root beer on the side, too.

I always like the combination of malteds and fries, though I usually went for vanilla (or sometimes strawberry.) I preferred the chocolate malted with peanut butter and bananas on toast. Mmmm, melted peanut butter.

When I was a kid, I used to like bologna sandwiches with mayonnaise instead of mustard. People were shocked and scandalized, but I thought it was a great combination of flavors.

yum... I could go for a malted of almost any flavor.

chocolate and peanut butter is an all-time wonder combo.

PB& toast is especially wonderful.. I love the consistancy it gets, plus, I make my toast extra toasty, so the carbon-flecks add to the crunch and flavor.

You're on your own with mayo, bub... I've never really gotten a hankering for it. Mustard on a grilled cheese got me weird looks, too.

I like to toast the bread twice- toast it about halfway, let it cool for a minute, then finish toasting it. This alters the texture, making it crisper and a bit crumbly. I find that it works best with sweet French bread rather than the standard sliced stuff such as Wonder Bread. It also tends to make sourdough toast a bit too hard, though that can be a virtue if you're making garlic cheese toast to float in a bowl of onion soup.
