I remember...
Date: 2005-03-14 07:52 pm (UTC)I was a little weird back then... I had a magnifying glass, and I burned out all of the lower-case "o"s in the book, over time. No mean feat for a book of statistics that was at least 400 pages. When my father found out, I had no good answer for him... only that I had bought the book with my own money, could still read it, and I liked the way the burned pages smelled better than they did before.

Date: 2005-03-14 08:54 pm (UTC)My mom finally sold the book at a yard sale when I was a teen---before she did I looked inside and saw that it had pictures of the bodies all hacked up--I was a bit happy I was always too chicken to look at the book---I would've REALLY been frightened if I had!!!
