Went for walkies up by Riverwalk, got a call from Mel and she asked to come along and hang out. Of course, I said yes. We watched the yachts come in, hung out at the singing fountain and gabbed about our families/holidays and such. I'll be visiting with her later today, too. I see a strong friendship forming there.

Well, I figured that one or another of the weirder kids at LJ would eventually do something totally crazy. In fact, I'm surprised we haven't heard of more such events.

But I saw a couple of trooper dispatches on that page that were also quite disturbing:

Holy cow...! That gave me chills.
I have a girlfriend right now who has a 17 year old daughter who gives me pause with some pretty scary things she's doing.

The alf talk show stinks. :( I ran into it one night, wondered what it was and watched it for a bit. Couldn't stand it long. Ran into it again later - and same cycle. I am wondering how Ed Mcmahon (sp?) feels about how badly the show is going?

I never cease to be amazed by lj-type drama.... you really do get all kinds here. I suspected the journal was probably a fake at first, but it seems pretty legit, sadly.


Aw, that's a shame abnout the talk show... Ol' Alf could probably use the work, too. The live action TV show wasn't my thing, but I absolutely loved the cartoon spinoff that took place on melmac.

Hopefully, ol' Ed is just doing the show mostly for fun, and not for ratings... he must really miss Johnny Carson about now.

I saw something last week that said that Johnny's show is being (or is already) released on DVD. If they have it on Netflix, I'd like to check some of them out. I used to watch it with my grandparents when I was a kidlet.
