We're in Tuskaloosa, Alabama for 10 minutes, and already I have a case.

Missing 8-year old boy... left for school, and wasn't on the bus when it arrived.

I hope he just missed the ride, or is playing hooky. I do know that there's a sexual predator with a history of pedophilia two and a half miles from where the boy was last seen.

missing kid is a black male, 4', 75lbs, brown eyes, black hair, wearing a red, gray, black top, black shorts w/white stripe, b/w shoes, black blu pack. been missing since 8:50am Central.

The org's already placed nearly 20,000 calls looking for him.

[edit - Kid returned home safely, he took the bus to the wrong special ed school. Happy ending all around. ]

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Law enforcement agencies in Tuscaloosa County are looking for a missing eight-year-old boy. A Tuscaloosa newspaper reports Monday that the boy is the godson of a woman whose daughter vanished from a school bus stop in Northport almost one year ago.

Police said Harryton Spates Jr. was last seen Monday morning walking to a school bus stop in the 600 block of 26th Avenue Alberta City.

The boy is a black male, four feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing a red, light gray shirt with horizontal stripes, black shorts with a white stripe down the side and black and white shoes. He was carrying a blue and black backpack.

Harryton's godmother is Beth Lowery. Her eleven-year-old daughter, Heaven LaShae Ross, disappeared in Northport on August 19, 2003.

Tuscaloosa County Sheriff Ted Sexton said the state has not yet issued an Amber Alert for the missing boy.

It's scary just looking at that guys face. I hope he rots in hell even if he didn't take the little boy. Mandatory castration for all sex offenders, also cut off their hands. Then set them on fire.

Sort of, I work with a non-profit organization that looks for missing children, disabled people and elderly.

I'm the tech guy... work the website, the network, and head of putting people on 24/7 call outside of the building.
