And it seemed that I was approximately 1/2 to 1/3 the average voting age here. (and I'm 31)

Oddly, there was no line, and I felt the tumbling sagebrush vibe of a ghost town when I went in there. all told, maybe 15 people working the voting area, (maybe 15 more pamphleteering, so I assume those all voted...) and about 4 old old folks, between 60 and 90, doing the voting thing.

Not a solid breakdown of the region, either. I expected more folks my age, and more ethnic diversity. More folks in general. I'll be interested in seeing how many turned out.

I'm a little disappointed.... but the upside is that my vote counts for more. :)

Turnout was good in my area. But then there were a couple of close races, a dead candidate, and a lot of other issues on the ballot - that usually brings them out.

I wanted to vote very badly but I couldn't this time around because in Mass. you can only registar to vote if you have a state ID oor if you're getting a state Id.
When I went to get 1 I was told that scince the only verification of residence I have is my monthly subscription to Nintendo Power magazine I wasn't qualified for a state id. They INSISTED that I bring thema copy of a water, gas, electric, &/or phone bill OR a bank statement... I dont have any bills besides my half of rent (which I give to roomie not landlord) and I've neve trusted other people eonough with my $ to open any kind of bank or credit union acct. so I got the shaft...... Watch... now it's gonna all come down to 1 vote & Ill end up being the reason Bush gets voted in & screws our country..... I hate Mass-a-2-shits.

Hmm, that's weird. I was asked if I wanted to register to vote in Boston, where I attend school, and I wasn't asked for ID about it. I didn't register here, because I was already registered in NY. Hum...
