Didn't bother with Choco-bunnies but did get some ice cream discs to fend off my sweet tooth.

Bro says that he's pretty much off cigs now, after going without since the end of February.

Research by the Trimbos Institute for Addiction indicates that the THC level has increased significantly over the years, meaning that Dutch-grown marijuana, Nederwiet, could now be considered a hard drug.


I'm really not one for smoking a drug, be it nicotine or thc... I just don't like the delivery system.

It took so long for that page to download that felt like I was stoned.

I'm not sure why they're as slow as all that... not a lot of graphics or heavy computaiton invovled that I can see right off the bat.

The sad thing about that site is that stoners as a whole aren't very good at making logical arguments (or avoiding spelling errors, for that matter)... that doesn't help the case in the long run.

Plus, Pot smokers have a poor voting history.

Just looking at that site caused me to leave a word out of my comment! Contact high, I guess.

I've always suspected that pot smokers vote infrequently because they get hung up on the way to the polls, or simply forget where they were going.

Now, if we gave out munchies at the polls, they'd probably all vote! But they'd be in the booth forever.

In defense of marijuana smokers

I am a proud "pot-head". I not only vote in EVERY election, I am very involved in local politics. I did get a laugh when I voted absentee (not for Bush or Nader) with a Miami-Dade ballot while smoking a joint. Too bad my vote probably wasnt counted. I also spend much of my free time reading. I work long hours and my pot smoking fiance owns his own business at the young age of 24. We also dont drink, marijuana is our drug of choice.
Factoid: You drink a gallon of vodka and you stand a good chance of dying. You smoke a pound of marijuana and you just sleep really well. One should wonder why one drug is legal and perfectly accepted by society, but the less harmful one can put you in jail.
Conclusion - not all "pot-heads" are drains on society though I grant that some are. I am also meeting John Kerry this tuesday and making my first significant campaign contribution - I just felt my chest puff up I think.
