Last night, kittybecca's house burned down. She, her children, their bunnies and her housemates escaped with the clothes on their backs and minor smoke inhalation. They lost everything else--even their shoes.

relevantpink has set up a donations page. Please, if you can't do anything else, spare a moment to wish kittybecca and her family some good fortune. Pass the donation site on to someone else who may be able to help out. Any amount will help--$5 will buy a pair of shoes at Salvation Army.

Someone on LJ recently raised over $400 to pay for a trip to a con. Let's put that generosity to work for a family who truly needs it.

*NEEDED ITEMS* Laura wears a size 14 in children's clothing and size 5 in Women's shoes (and whatever the kid equivalent is). Leah wears a size 8-10 clothes, and size 1 in children's shoes.
-Rabbit Water Bottle
-Rabbit food
-Size 7.5 Women's shoes
-Size large sweats and tees
-and pretty much anything else...

Updated info -
-Rebecca wears size large tees, sweats, sweaters etc. Size 16 dresses/blouses, Size 18 Jeans. Large or size 8 underwear, 38 B bra (roughly).
-Eddy wears large tshirts, 28/20 pants (but of course can make do with a little larger).
-Bob wears 38/30 or 40/30 pants, large or extra large tshirts.
-Dave wears large or extra large tshirts, still trying to find out about pants.

Also, Laura and Leah love to play dress-up. It is an art form for them. So any old formals, bridesmaids dresses, hideous neckties, Halloween wigs, etc would be a big hit with them.

I just happened to wander over to this post. Linked froma friend who probably linked off a friend type thing. I noticed YOU live in Florida. Does Kittybecca also live in Florida? I have a whole cage, water bottle, food, bedding, toys...setup for a rabbit. All un-used that I would like to donate but can't afford shipping on. I bought it years ago to get a rabbit and ended up procrastinating until I got dogs. The cage was hoped to be used later but a bunny in need is a friend indeed. If I can find a way I woudl love to donate the supplies to your friend. I live in the Atlanta, GA area. I'd like to help out, so please get back to me. =)
