1 pound is about half a kilo (roughly.)

I think that the weight of my head seems to vary with the time of day. The later it gets, the more it weighs. Now the question is: is that because the mass of my head changes, or because the gravitational force acting my head changes?
So what is the mass of a typical head anyway? ... according to this site: http://www.phys.washington.edu/~young/208A/body_segment_mass.txt, the relative weight of a head is 0.073. So if a person weighed 150 pounds (68 kg), his/her head would be roughly 11 pounds (5 kg). But the relationship can't be linear - as a person increases the amount of fat his carries on his body, it isn't distributed evenly. I guess you could use a weight from your ideal range to guesstimate how much your head ways (and I don't know what condition was of the subjects measureed for the data given at that site). So.. calculating... my head weighs roughly 10 or 11 pounds.
Well... now I know. I guess.

My friend Erika (of the estokes journal) recommended your journal for good reading to me, and now she and I are sitting here out of our minds on lsd and that makes your journal's talk of vengeful aborted babies very scary indeed! I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, but that's a very interesting idea, which could make a scary amount of sense. So anyway, ignore me, I'm messed up right now.
