Spicy chik patties are wholly superior to Original. Taste better, lower in sodium and fat.

Tramp Lamps - lights that created from vintage clothing and undergarments.

Muslim Toys - Razanne! Check out "In and Out Razanne" especially. Nifty!

Carbon Dust Illustrations of Beetles: "The illustrations in this gallery were created by hand using the carbon dust technique, a drawing method which renders images of exquisite visual detail. The accuracy is important to researchers concerned with insect morphology, that is, the study of the physical forms assumed by various species.

Scientific illustrator Frances Fawcett created the majority of these images, while entomologist Christopher Marshall produced the last two bugs in the gallery using a hybrid technique of hand-drawing and computer shading."

A wonderful site all about the Day Of The Dead

The Book of Sand, an enchanting hypertext/puzzle treatment of Borges' ficcion. But is there really a solution?

Ran across a site that mentioned how to make sugar skulls, decorated nicely with Fiesta type colored icing. Wish I remember where, you woulda liked them.

I didn't know you like Kim Possible! :0)

Addicted to those chikn' patties. The office starts sniffing & mentioning something smells good when I have them for lunch. Although, I do have an occasional freak out because they *look* so much like meat.

People not from NC prounounce Asheville differently than I'm used to(family lives in the mountains near there). I've always heard it only as "Ashevull" and "Ashevll" - (due to the dialect) but people outside of NC often pronounce it just like it's spelled.

Grew up in Phoenix, and there were a multitude of teachers who spent time ramming the correct way to spell it into our little noggins. As little ones, "Pheonix" and "Fenix" were often seen ;)

Oh yeah, Kim Possible's a lot of fun! and disney plays it so often, I can pretty much watch it whenever I surf.

Do you still watch Spongebob?

It's too bad Mexico weren't a little closer to you!
I went alot when I lived in Arizona & a little closer. Since I've been in Texas - not one person I know has been interested in going. I hear of too many "issues" with people who go there alone... so. :P

Ok I'm stuck inside today--trying to get some school work done and these links you are posting are like little god-sends! Um I AM a bit disturbed by the paper dress on the Consumer Reports vintage picture site...wha tif it rained?

On the pumpkin carving site you posted earlier they had a link to a cool art site with some nice original desktop Halloween decorations--check it out!
