scottobearLiving things without a pair of thumbs that I’ve seen today:
I eat a BK breakfast far too often. The King-sized soda lasts me well past lunch.
Getting paid twice a month is not the same as every other Friday. No 3-paycheck months, but each one is a bit bigger.
People in black and white appear sleepier to me
than those in color.

- 3 mockingbirds sitting on a trash can
- spooky tree
- the UPS man

Date: 2003-09-30 03:49 pm (UTC)I get paid once per month..it took some getting used to at first. meaning: First day of month does not = blowing tons of money on stuff and then realizing you still haven't paid your bills or bought much food for the rest of the month. :P
I checked in on your new cam thingie and didn't see a Newt or a Scotto. :(

"Sorry...can't go out to lunch for about 2 more weeks."
"I had to borrow 60 bucks from my sister to pay my cell phone."
"I just came back from one of those paycheck advance places."
and on and on. ;) All sorts of excitement on the first of the month, leads to not much fun at the end of the month.

ME: The trick is to pay your bills at the beginning of the month. Immediately. Then with what you have left over you put away to save, and or spend a little to have fun. Do it right and you'll come out on top after doing it for awhile.
Her: Yeah, right. If I pay the bills at the first of the month, I'll have no money left over in the end to have fun.
