After the experiences of p7a77 at EA they are now on my list of evil companies.

Long story short: After weeks of putting up with and complaining about things like gay jokes, offensive pictures on screensavers, and general harassment he got into a shouting match with one of the primary offenders and was fired. His boss' boss said things like "I make gay jokes too..." and defended/supported the whole alpha male thing. Bleh!

ugh! hmm... well, that goes against the TOS I downloaded, but I am disappointed to see that EA is westwood's parent company. I really like command and conquer as well as the old blade runner game.

If that's the whole story, your pal may have grounds for a harassment suit.

you probably will be. I don't know what the criteria are, but I suspect it's a good video card, and a fast net connection.

yup, I played it for a little bit. very pretty, and a pretty nice interface. if you do end up on, I'm "scotto" on galaxy "unnamed:556" aboard the ship "newton II".

The career tracks are a little skewed, though... you can get a mission to harvest genetic material when your skill doesn't allow you to. still pretty beta.

hmmm... I don't know how well you'll do with what you have, but I hope you get in! (Even if you are Canadian.)
