ok, back from the garden store....(at my local Kmart... having a wicked sale.)

here's a list of what I picked up.

For Newton - catnip and catgrass.

For me - sweet alyssum, dwarf dill, dwarf parsley, sweet basil, cilantro, and oregano...

also picked up some other planting needs... a few small pots and soil.

Now, to mix the seeds, and figure how I'll keep Nosy Newtie out of the stuff. I'll probably have to barricade it somehow.

Neat..l just realised that I planted as the moon's waxing.

Yeah.. a while ago, Josh and I were at WalMart, and we got so into the planters and seeds.. we just went overboard with stuffs.. =) I wanted Candytuft and cornflower in the same planter b/c the candytuft was called fairy mixed colours ;) and the cornflower would compliment it -- catnip for KC and Emmit.. my mom's kitties -- I want to make them little toys... -- Iris b/c it's my favorite and alyssum b/c of the Tori song, Datura; it talks about sweet alyssum in the lyrics. =)

I never thought it would ever grow since I have such a brown thumb.. but they're all sprouting! I am so excited... this is my first time seeds have ever grown for me. =) I even bought them a sprayer b/c I love them so much. =)

I hold them and sing them the Datura song. =) They, along with my llama are my babies. =)

sweet alyssum are supposed to be very easy to grow... plus, it's a fragrant and beautiful flower, surely. :)

mmm yes.. they grow everywhere back home, and smell sooooo good. What colours did you get? White or pink? I got the white ones. =)
