found on my walk... it's a little large, so I'm lj-cutting it. It's an air-freshener, I think. It made me feel really good.

I found a name tag for some restaurant that is in the shaoe of a chile and the name on it is Virgilio. I would wear it, but it was run over several times before I found it.

heh. I haven't seen grass in so long I spent a few minutes wondering why someone would tie an air freshner to an evergreen tree. plus, Fla. grass is a bit more spiky/harsh looking than ours :-)

oh, that's the rough and tumble uber-sod that they use by the sidewalks... it's amazing stuff. strong, durable, and super roots, vs flooding

downside, it's not fun to lay on. bluegrass or another thinner leaf is much more comfy.

that's so cool! I love finding little things like that - beauty in unexpected places. :) And ya know...now that you have your digital camera, you should check out Snap Club (http://www.panic.com/~stevenf/snap/)! :) I really like it - it's kind of like a visual equivalent to LJ. :)

That is the one thing that I miss with the winters here... no nice and green grass to play in! We have alot of greenery around my condo but around September it gets all brown and winterey. Color me a nice shade of jealous green!
