I'm stuck n post and reply mode. I think it's due in part to the fact that I don't want to sit still and think about my friends and myself even though I'm writing about them now.

to go by item.

1. I know 2 people in jail
2. I know 11 people who are potentially unemployed come end of month.
3. Does anyone get along with their parents? Not me, not many folks in lj-land, not many folks I work with. Is the generation gap getting wider?
4. I'm tired... and want to get my snooze-gear soon. You know the insomnia thing for Fight Club? That's how dulled my senses are right now. Witty? I'm a dolt right now, and I know I can be more clever.

Must focus on something good. What good has happened today? I'm being too negative... can't think of anything particularly positive that happened today.

Maybe if I get out of here at a decent hour, I can read a good book tonight, and lounge some. That'll make stuff better. Will play with the cat. I'll get some bubbles on the way home, and blow them for the kitty. I've got a weird vibe today... don't like it. Need to find some good mood music, a nice color or something.

A good candle, soft, soothing music playing in the background, Alley cat lying next to me on my bed, me, curled up with a nice book in all those blankets ... open the window and let the nice breeze through ... that's my happy place ... nothing could possibly bother me there. I am sorry you are having such a crap day and that all your friends are going through so much. My thoughts are with them all. I wish you luck.

Hey! Where the hell is your darling roommate in this picture? And the salmon cream cheese?

Whoa. That really didn't sound good. Hmm.

I'm giddy.

Nice image! Very endearing. :) Thanks for the kind wishes, and I hope that it does work out. i'm just lapsing nito whiny-baby mode. There are many people worse off... We're all fed, clothed and loved by someone as far as I know, anyway.

salmon cream cheese? um, ick. sour dairy and fish together? Is that good?

I imagine her adorable and effervescent roomie is hiding under the bed, or snoring in the other room. :)

You'll have to ask Christine about the salmon cream cheese. She's the one that got me hooked on the stuff in the first place.

Evil!

I want some now, too. *whimper*

Poor little critter. I suppose it's like some sort of bagel/lox concoction that's quite good, and just sounds yucky. If I had any, rest assured you would get all of it! (even if it didn't sound creepyweird) *patpat* I'd settle for something tasty and delicious, as the soup and salad have been devoured by my body, and it is now demanding some other form of fuel compensation.

Strange as it may seem, I actually get along well with my mother, and my father too before he died in 1996. They brought me up very sheltered and Catholic. Naturally, I rebelled. But everyone grew as a result of this rebellion. My dad used to be a card-carrying Republican in the 60s. By the time I rebelled in the 70s and Reagan got elected in the 80s, he was a bleeding heart liberal! I turned my mom on to pot! Of course we have our differences, but we generally get along. I can't always say the same about my brothers, however, but that's another story.
Praise Jah!

Great! I'm very happy to hear of some folks that get on so well with the 'rentals. It strikes me as exceedingly rare these days.
