Good morning, and welcome to Autumn. :)

Here's hoping that you enjoy the coming season, the changing of colors, Hallowe'en, new scents and the cooling, snuggly times ahead.

ahhh.... I love fall. I'd think it's a bit more spectacular here in canada than it would be in Fla., tho

True... it's far milder a change here than there, but there are subtle hints.

(Like the incoming rush of canadian tourists...)

Do you sleep?

If there is a place where it's Autumn all year round, please let me know. I want to go live THERE.

ah, nothing like autumn in new england. :) part of why i moved here. (plus ... SNOW!)

when i went to the wedding southwards last weekend the leaves were already changing on trees, shrubs, and the ivy that covered many tree trunks. it was gorgeous.

Sleep? Not a great deal.

Sleep is for tortoises, and beautiful women (just ask my sweetheart, who is no doubt still sawing wood)

I'm with you on the Autumnville gig, though... it's my favorite season too.

Well, that makes more sense to me... get out before the plances get too much ice on them, but stay long enough to see snow, fer goodness's sake!

I like 'em all, but I do have to admit a special fondness for this one.

I'm glad you had such a visually marvelous time at the wedding!

it was outdoors, and the view behind it was this huge view of rolling hills and patches of forest. butterflies kept flying overhead, even though it was only about 70 (too cool for many of them here).

i could prattle on forever about how beautiful it was, so i'll stop here. :)

by the way...i'm so envious that you live in florida from a butterfly perspective. if i were deciding where to live in the u.s. solely on butterflies, i would definitely move there!

feel free to prattle on as long as you like, I welcome your comments. it sounds like the wedding was practically magical.

oh, the butterflies here are wonderful... I'm about 2 miles from butterfly world which has a fantastic garden, chock full of them.

Yay for Autumn! Now if the weather would get cooler it'd be perfect.

You know I've been so busy I hadn't realized today
we've entered Autumnal Equinox. I've heard, and
watched the geese migrating, heading back south.
I've noticed all the Monarchs have left, and I think
the other day I saw the last migrating hummingbird
until next summer.
The leaves here are just beginning to take on a
subtle change of color, and of course it's chilly here
now, at night, and early morning.

I've written you a letter here instead of a simple
response. (I'm a wordy one)

Thanks for reminder of the official first day of autumn.

thanks for the note, and you're quite welcome for the autumnal reminder. I didn't know either until the calendar said so.

wow, it looks positively amazing.

one of my friends moved to florida and i've thought it would be tacky to say to him "hey, can i visit your butterfl--uh, i mean you?" :)

*laughs...well, maybe rephrase it.

"I'd love to visit, maybe we could go to BW?"

heh, he lives in northern florida--i just meant in general. :)

"hey, could i come stay with you and spend all my time out watching butterflies?" also doesn't sound great. :)
