Sep. 22nd, 2001 10:19 amGood morning, and welcome to Autumn. :)
Here's hoping that you enjoy the coming season, the changing of colors, Hallowe'en, new scents and the cooling, snuggly times ahead.

Date: 2001-09-22 07:32 am (UTC)when i went to the wedding southwards last weekend the leaves were already changing on trees, shrubs, and the ivy that covered many tree trunks. it was gorgeous.

I'm with you on the Autumnville gig, though... it's my favorite season too.

Date: 2001-09-22 07:41 am (UTC)i could prattle on forever about how beautiful it was, so i'll stop here. :)
by the way...i'm so envious that you live in florida from a butterfly perspective. if i were deciding where to live in the u.s. solely on butterflies, i would definitely move there!
Re:
Date: 2001-09-22 07:46 am (UTC)oh, the butterflies here are wonderful... I'm about 2 miles from butterfly world which has a fantastic garden, chock full of them.

Date: 2001-09-22 08:35 am (UTC)Autumn
Date: 2001-09-22 08:37 am (UTC)we've entered Autumnal Equinox. I've heard, and
watched the geese migrating, heading back south.
I've noticed all the Monarchs have left, and I think
the other day I saw the last migrating hummingbird
until next summer.
The leaves here are just beginning to take on a
subtle change of color, and of course it's chilly here
now, at night, and early morning.
I've written you a letter here instead of a simple
response. (I'm a wordy one)
Thanks for reminder of the official first day of autumn.

Date: 2001-09-22 09:20 am (UTC)one of my friends moved to florida and i've thought it would be tacky to say to him "hey, can i visit your butterfl--uh, i mean you?" :)
Re:
