Just watched the pilot episode of the rockford files.

A few things stand out…

Will Robinson (Billy Mumy) and the bionic woman (Lindsey Wagner)  brother and sister.

Rockford’s dad is a different actor.

Rockford beats up (ambushes)  a karate bad guy in a burlesque club toilet with the help of a soapy floor,  a roll of quarters and by calling the guy stupid, “musclebound making up for feelings of inadaquacy”, and calling him queer (his words, not mine).

I wonder how much you could get away with the good guy (not an antihero)  doing that today?
