I see the month of March drifting away in a gray drizzle of misty rain and gray skies.

Today, like this month in general, has been a mixed bag of bane and blessing. I’m choosing to focus on the blessing side, just for my own well-being. I find myself wondering what changes the immediate future will bring for the betterment of my health and family.

I see great potential in our future – just waiting for dawn to break.

I’ve been feeling a bit melancholy lately, though I’ve been trying to nip it in the bud. Old songs have made me weepy – Living Years by Mike & the Mechanics / Lonely People by America being the worst offenses, because they rattle in my skull for ages after I hear the most fleeting reference to them. I can generally purge them with a liberal slathering of CCR and George Harrison. I expect my mood to brighten when the sun appears tomorrow.

Insurance issues seem to have been mostly resolved – just need to recover funds from a misfiled check, and it’ll be AOK. Just in time for me to cancel and move to a new insurer on 4/1.
