Inspired to listen by the little icon there... rereading 'The Watchmen'... it's a fine bit of stuff, and it's been about 4 years since I've last thumbed through... a lot of interesting currents run through it. The concept of time especially is an interesting one... not one I care to share. (All things have happened, and we're just viewing it from one perspective... fate is set... digging up a quote now) "Time is simultaneous, an intricately structured jewel that humans insist on viewing one edge at a time, when the whole design is visible in every facet." I prefer to keep (even if it's an illusion) the concept of free will...and that different events have some real causality.

Fate's a funny thing. I can see some comfort in everything being preordained... but then what's the purpose? It'd be like living in a novel already written... interesting from the outside, but so impotent for the folks inside.

Good to see you! I had a decent Christmas, more importantly to my sanity, a 4-day period of non-work.

I think Newtie did well... he got some lovely things, a collar, an ID tag, lots of paperwads and packing peanuts to play with... not to mention I got to play with him just about non stop... made us both happy, I think...

*big hugs* right back... I missed seeing you naked on the lianna site... I was amazed that so many folk participated in that! (I'm too shy to do that sort of think, unless anonymous...) Any ideas as to why so many men appeared, um... moist?

It's kinda scarey to think that all of this has already happened, it kinda takes the wind out of the theory that we have the chance to choose what we believe would be right for us, ya know... I don't even want to think that I chose all the crap some time ago and am just now living it out, that would be nutz! ... *shiver*

He's one of the characters in the watchmen... keeps a written journal, and has very strong convictions... reminds me of me, were I more conservative, and had a more abusive childhood...

my kitties got these happy catnip mice things... big mistake! i've got nonstop doped up kitties running around like madmen all the time now. phooey!!

you missed my chest? is it gone? it shouldn't be... i didn't take it down. i couldn't look at half of those moist peepee's... i thought my breast shot was done very tastifully (otherwise i wouldn't of done it) but some of those pics scared me!!!!
