Grindhouse, especially "Planet Terror" segment is the greatest movie every made! A lot like the crap we'd make up on the fly, only more twisted and with over the top gore. A lot of fun to watch, but definitely a guy's movie, we had a boys night out since non of our wives had any interest in watching. Plot wise "Death Proof" is a better film, and much less gross, though it has it moments,and I liked it lot, but it wasn't as over the top bad movie fun as "Planet Terror". The nostalgia factor really hit me they do a great job of recreating the experience of watching these "grindhouse" films down to scratchy film, missing frames, missing reels, some very amusing fake previews and... well not sure what there called but, the things that say, coming soon, and feature presentation, took me right back to my youth.
