Feb. 20th, 2007 07:30 amjob interview with DHS - went well! I was told that I'm #1 on the list... depending onwhat it pays, I'll probably jump for it. On the way home, BHK and I toured DC a bit.
It's a nifty city... I wouldn't mind working there - I dig it more than Baltimore, in fact. Easier to get to, and fascinating. There's a statue or museum every three feet, it seems. I was pleased to discover that all of the monuments and the smithsonian are free to visit, so I'd like to take a mini-tour of the Air and Space or Museum of Natural history after any follow-up interviews.

It's right across the street from a sub entrance, but it's within walking distance of a lot (if you like to walk). There's also a rite aid up the street if you need something. The price was definitely right, especially using AAA or another discount. The Marriott Courtyard is pretty fair on the wallet, too. You 2 should spend a weekend.
