Fluxx is the best! If you don't have it, another great game is, Apples to Apples.

I didn't realise that they'd added a few new cards since I had last played... now there's one that allows for two goals to be out at once!

Apples to Apples and Settlers of Katan are next on my list for family game cabinet. :)

Haven't played good old Fluxx in a long time, got in a few games of the Superhero Munchkin card recently though, it was fun if a little long playing.
I like Settlers, though I had to ban my bud Wade from playing with us, Wade loves RPG gaming, but hates completive games where everyone is trying to win against each other, the dude has got absolutely none of that crush your enemies in defeat edge you need to play those games, so instead he gives away his resources just to end the game sooner.

The one thing I don't like about Settlers is if your luck is bad at the start, and your opponents are as skilled or better than you are, you can end up playing through a long, more or less predetermined defeat.

Fluxx is keen! I got 'Family Fluxx' to play w/ the niece & nephew crowd though I wonder how different it will be, it was always a pretty G rated game so I wonder what they changed..?

I think Apples to Apples is also a great game but there are very few folks I know who like it, being that it's NOT what you'd call competitive & cutthroat.

Lunchmoney is a fun little game for those of you willing to lay into your buddy with a pipe or just pimp slap 'em around...
