The crank I got at Walgreens... it was marked down from $9.99...I guess they bought too many of 'em to deal with last year's hubbub, and they're carting 'em out of the warehouse. They also had a million candlepower spotlight for cheap mcfrugal prices. The walgreens I went to was the one in deerfield on 10th and federal, but call your locla one, and see if it's there, too? they also had little black and white tv/radios for $25, which seemed liek a good deal. (no crank, though)
it does have a headphone jack! The little speakers aren't half bad, either.
that solar charger does have a 'power plug" attachment, so if you have a battery charger, you can trickle charge batteries, though I have no idea how long it'd take.
