It's that time of day again, so Newt and I are on the outside (inside screens) while the condo gets a spruce-up.

Peek in on Newtcam if you want to see if there's any exciting mop-action on the tiles! (Or to see if you can spot Newt on the other side of the sliding glass door.)

Going to do some consulting work this afternoon for Caroline - I haven't done anything for her since she sold the pharmacy a year or two ago. It should be a nice visit, and with any luck, it'll pay for a new digital camera.

Nicely cool outside... Not a cloud in the sky, but a soft breeze and the slightest bite in the air. A good day for a little walkabout. A quick shower after Rosemary leaves, and I think a few hours out and about will do me a world of good. I've been shaking a lot of mental cobwebs loose this morning.

Oh I love it when cats stretch out like that--make sa prime place for kissin and raspberrying! That is such a cute picture of him---makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and caaaaallllmmmm. He works mUCH better than Phillip ever could :D

He's a snooper, and does that stretch a lot... it's funny to see all of his fat distribute across his body, rather than just settling in his pooch-belly and rump.

Is Newt just stretching, or is he trying to reach up and open the door? Most kitties eventually figure out that getting a door open has something to do with touching the handle, but luckily only a few of them ever figure out how to actually work one. Sliding doors pretty much defeat all kitties, to their annoyance. I'll bet that cats hate doors more than just about anything.

Newt's just stretching, but he *has* figured out cabinets and cupboard, by using his paw on the little knob. I had to "childproof" the ones where I keep glasses and cleaning chemicals, just in case. He's more tan welcome to roam under the bathroom vanity... only toilet paper there.

He opens bigger doors by headbutting them, and hoping for the best.
