Dang... I lost my whole big entry with a power spike. Draft was minimal.
suffice to say that Sky High was a good time. The super effects (usually in battle) were a little weak, but the movie was fun.
Dan and I went to the club after, and he won a VIP card and t-shirt. TV themes were Macguyver, Rockford Files, and Greatest American Hero.
sakes, that's annoying.. I wrote a good, long 2-pager, saved the draft, and it still got toasted. humbug. Well, I'm not spending another 45 minutes on it. Dang dog/apple with a worm in it!
On my day off, I got no fewer than 8 calls from or about work. I also had to cover calls for a couple of hours both in the morning and evening to recover from my tech being sick (though I don't hold that against her.. the situation just sucks)
I may have to be on call all day today, too. I'm going to try a request for an additional day off just out of flex time.
Paired with Thursday's slo-motion exit, event with ADP, and phone system roughness, I'd say it's looking like the most annoying week in that particular gig's history. Hooray for a New week coming up, hopefully with none of that hubbub.
