Skipped Apheresis yesterday.. it was too cold, to stormy-yuck to venture out in without more protection than what I had. I've rescheduled for next week.
The walk was brisk with heavy, cold rain. Air chilly enough to see my breath and all I was wearing was a polo shirt and khakis. Yucka.
Cocktail Party tonight. (rerun of this, I imagine) I get to schmooze with potential contributors, demo the system, show off the satellite mapping system, and take some grapes and cheese home afterward.
I still think that calling something a cocktail party when only beer and wine are served is wrong. "Open House" might be more appropriate.
I'm overdue for a night time beach walk. Maybe Friday. I'm probably going to have to do call on Sat, because EN is already pulling a Friday/Sunday/Monday shift, and is going to need some sort of rest.

I'm getting to be a bit of a one-man Dr. Who episode distribution site lately... I think the last time I got this many requests from non-torrenters was the first season of the Osbournes.(Wow, has it really been three years?) Nero does a pretty good job of converting the AVI to VCD format.. the soundtrack doesn't go out of whack anymore. (unlike with lost in translation)
My back has been good lately, need to refocus on fat loss / muscle building, Foot tending to roll a bit when I'm very fatigued. Still want to contact a dentist to get a good cleaning and review.
Newt seems sharp and on top of his game, but he's still due a checkup at the vet.
Mother having difficulties with her leg, seeing a doc about it.
Grandmother is on the outs, health-wise. After her stroke last year, she was considerably weakened... Alzheimer's has set in, she's increasingly frail physically and mentally. She's ben moved from in-house care to an assisted living facility, with 24-hour supervision.
Brother seems to be doing better. His maintenance appears to have him on a semi-steady course at the moment... I'll wait and see how that works out. Mood swings seem to be a lot less severe.
