I'm feeling a funny vibe right now. We'll see how it wiggles over the course of the day. I hope it settles down into something good.

Berkeley Breathed has a new strip with Opus... I hope it's better than outland, and at least half as good as bloom county

Simon and Garfunkel to reunite for a tour (warning, E-online has audio commercials), also, The Pixies.

Wow... I'm getting quite a brood! Want to be part of the vampire family? I'm sire to 33 other active vampires, right now. If any of my vampire spawn are reading this, give a friendly wave! I'd really like to draw up a family tree. (And not burn who knows how much celerity doing so)

I have just a twinge of anxiety this morning... Been carrying it since yesterday's early hours. There are good vibes, too, and the combination is striking an odd chord. Sort of a "bongos & violin" concert. Both as individuals have merits, but make for a dissonant harmony at best.

prop4 on time?! (interrobang) first time by my reckoning, and we have to wait for Kahuna to arrive with the new keys. D'oh.

Noon
All trepidation has passed.. The office is empty, save for Prop2 and Rhode Island. They celebrated both September birthdays with a carrot cake today, and are comfortably enjoying a little sugar-bliss. I'm accomplishing a lot, and surprisingly, three ebay items are already bid on. It just might raise some bucks, yet. I'm in a good mood, and thinking good thoughts. The girls think I'm a loony for refusing carrot cake on the basis of my not knowing the points.
4:02 pm
Office closed for the day, as the skeleton crew are all early-bouncers.
4:30 pm
My appointment with the Neurosurgeon as been approved... Morning appointment in a couple of weeks. A positive end light in sight.

end palm update.

Must be the season... folks are removing/renaming Live Journals in droves. Yesterday, three evaporated like condensation on hot pavement. I wonder if/when they'll be back? a few other folks going on hiatus...I wonder what sets that to rolling in September? Is it related to Lj's load balancing issues?

I'm bushed...going to try to hit the sack early tonight.
