Great news about Herm! Mending well... I'd been quite concerened. I hear 2L is super laggy these days, not that I'd be contributing to said lag... mr lappie isn't up to the demands that place makes on a machine.

Date: 2005-11-05 01:38 am (UTC)Hmm did my sleeping bag smell? I don't think it did--although the last time I remember having it--it smelled like our basement--YUCK!
My dolls still smell a bit---I found them in our old house and brought them home to MD so my niece could play with them---they don't really smell the same as they did when they were new---just generically sweet. But my niece didn't care she fell in love and is a 3-year-old Strawberry Shortcake addict now!!! Her mother called me one day to tell me that her daughter had mysteriously eschewed the Dora the Explorer birthday party paraphenalia in favor of Strawberry Shortcake---she was baffled---until I explained to her that while her husband and her were at an Orioles/Yanks game and I was kid-sitting I toted out the ol' Shortcake and a fun time was had by all--even by Pye who chewed on a few dolls and was lectured in toddler-babble by a two year old for it.
