Of particular interest to me was the "Handbook of the Marvel Universe" set... sort of fun to go back and look at all the old weirdo characters I haven't even given a second thought to for about 20 years. The Alpha Primatives! Karnilla!, The Human Zodiac! The Android Zodiac! (Shamelessly ripped off by about every superhero game system at one point or another.)
Also, I didn't know that Scott Lang was born in Coral Gables.
They also have all the old Dragon Magazine Marvel-phile articles.

Microwave squabble leads to stabbing
Tempers flared between two Walgreens workers over a microwave. Police say one grabbed a knife and stabbed the other.

A Walgreens employee is behind bars after she allegedly stabbed a co-worker in a brawl over who could microwave their soup first, authorities said Thursday.
'I don't know if it the most trivial motive we have seen for a stabbing, but it has to rank right up there,' acknowledged Jim Leljedal, spokesman for the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Mellesia Grant, 23, of North Lauderdale, is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, BSO said. She was booked at BSO's main jail and is being held on $50,000 bond, the sheriff's office said.
The fight started about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday inside the employees' break room at the back of the store, 8790 W. McNab Rd. in Tamarac.
The two women, Grant and Merloze Tilme, 20, were involved in an ongoing dispute that erupted inside the room, BSO said.
Both women were hungry and wanted to heat soup in the employees' microwave. Authorities said an argument erupted over who would use the oven first.
Grant picked up a large kitchen knife that had been left on the counter and stabbed Tilme in the abdomen, BSO said. The two then wrestled over the knife, each cutting their hands on the blade. The store manager broke up the brawl, seized the knife and dialed 911 to report the melee, Leljedal said.
'It was a pretty bloody scene,' Leljedal said. He didn't know what kind of soup was involved, or whether that that was spilled along with the blood.
''It started in the break room . . . and the two women stumbled into the back of the store. Fortunately, no customers were ever in danger.'
When deputies arrived, the two women were already separated. Tamarac Fire-Rescue paramedics treated them and took them to area hospitals.
Doctors at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale are treating Tilme's wounds to her abdomen and hands.
She was in good condition Thursday afternoon, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Grant was treated and released from University Hospital and Medical Center in Tamarac. She was later taken to jail, according to BSO.
'They didn't get along to begin with,' Leljedal said. ''Who would use the microwave first became a major issue.'
Well, my office hasn't gotten to that point, anyhow!
