autostitch is so much fun!! I can never quite get it to work right though I am still always into the results :-)

it is pretty impressive. I have best luck when the lighting is more similar...I lost a few pictues due to brightness issues.

yeah I have had times where I put like 30 pics in there and it claimed to not be able to find any matches :-\
i thought it might have had something to do with the pictures being both portrait and landscape but i dont think thats it.

I just downloaded autostitch and... wow! Thanks for turning me on to that, I'd been looking for good and free panorama software for a very long time.

I probably shouldn't have fiddled with the settings too much, though. My poor computer is about an hour and a half into cranking out a full-size, top-quality image, with maybe about 45 minutes to go. Sheesh.

wow... I didn't realise that it would chew that long... I guess the bigger the image, the longer the chew.

my only gripe with autostitch is that it expires every couple of months and you have ot re-download it.. an enforced "update".
