huh? It is? I loved getting tips when I worked at a hotel in Reykjavik one summer... I don't remember being insulted when people gave me tips (always foreigners, Icelanders never tip since the service is included in the price... and we're cheap hahaha).
It's wrong to say it's insulting. I think Max Zedelmen needs to check his "facts" before he publishes them. ;)
